We went online for 2021

We are pleased to confirm that this year the Harvesters Men’s Weekend became the Harvesters Men’s Evenings. Over the course of three Tuesday evenings, we explored and unpacked the theme: “Empowered to Serve”. There was uplifting Praise and Worship, engaging speakers and the usual small group time in which to journey, share and delve deeper into the talks with other men from across the country. Over 100 men registered for the event, with a good mix of first timers and old timers and each evening had at least 70 men online. Thank you to everyone who joined with us during these three weeks.

It has been a long time since we have been able to meet together (the last time was in 2019!) and so much has happened in this time. The support and fellowship that many of us rely upon at our annual gatherings has been deeply missed. Therefore with the future still being uncertain, we pray that these virtual evenings went some way to reaching out to you where you are and provided an oasis in what can seem like a current desert. We are looking at how we move forward now and appreciated the feedback given from the evenings. Therefore please watch this space for any future events; online and in person.

We look forward to us being together again soon, knowing that the Lord can minister to us using all forms of communication and in all locations, just ask the centurion and his servant in Luke 7!

Harvesters Catholic Men's Weekend

Harvesters is a national Catholic Men’s Network, with a desire to include men from other Christian Traditions. It seeks to encourage and equip men in their faith. Our annual weekends are a safe space for men to be refreshed in their faith. The weekend usually takes place at The Hayes Conference Centre in Swanwick, Derbyshire. In 2021, the weekend will be hosted online.

Time to grow in faith

Eucharist, sport, relaxation and a bar are included. Many men who have never been on such a weekend before are quite amazed at how they really relax, have a great time and meet with God.

Time to talk with other men

Time, that is, to talk in a little more depth than you might usually do. Most men, young and old feel the small groups are very valuable.
