Harvesters Catholic Men's Weekend

Harvesters is a national Catholic Men’s Network, with a desire to include men from other Christian Traditions. It seeks to encourage and equip men in their faith. Our annual weekends are a safe space for men to be refreshed in their faith. The 2019 weekend takes place on 19th-21st July at High Leigh Conference Centre, Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Registration from 4pm on the Friday, with supper at 6:30pm and welcome at 8pm. The event closes with lunch on Sunday.

Time to grow in faith

Eucharist, sport, relaxation and a bar are included. Many men who have never been on such a weekend before are quite amazed at how they really relax, have a great time and meet with God.

Time to talk with other men

Time, that is, to talk in a little more depth than you might usually do, without feeling
threatened. Most men, young and old feel the small groups are very valuable.

One Hope Project is a group of friends, artists and musicians who enjoy worshiping the God of love. Their first album was no.1 on the Christian iTunes chart. Tom Aston and Steve Szymanski from the group will be leading praise & worship at Harvesters this year. Tom is a producer and worship leader from London. Steve is a musician from Hampshire.

High Leigh Conference Centre

High Leigh Conference Centre is a Christian venue in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire that offers a relaxed and peaceful environment within 40 acres of lawns, parkland and woodland. Accommodation comprises mainly ensuite bedrooms, and cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided at no extra charge.

At Harvesters we enjoy High Leigh’s location and surroundings throughout the weekend, but particularly on Saturday afternoons where there is the opportunity to take part in football, cycling and – if sport isn’t your thing – other activities such as music and photography.
